This is a great product. I've had one for our cats for several years. I liked it so much that I purchased one for my parents' cat, too. I'd recommend getting the extra water containers, or the fountain needs fresh water every day or so.
The Pampered Pet Mart has fast and reasonable cost shipping and a very good price on the Drinkwell fountain. |

Other places offered free shipping, but your price was still lower, shipping and all. Order came promptly. Our cat is 14 and has always had just a plain bowl of water, but she took to drinking at this fountain immediately. She seems to be drinking more water already and that can only be better for her health. There is a fine soft hum noise of the motor and it does take up more room than just the plain water bowl, but after she's used to it, I'll probably try moving it out of the kitchen and down to the laundry room. I know our water is hard, so I decided to use bottle water to minimize cleaning from any hard water deposits. Your special first time discount offer on the filter replacements and cleaning brushes convinced me to get them right away. The extra 50 oz. water reservoir is a convenient enhancement. Thanks. |

Get the Drinkwell Platinum!!! It is well worth the extra $20. The attachments for this particular unit to expand the reservoir are pricey and junky. The Platinum is a huge step up, and you don't even need to buy an expansion. Just check out the reviews for the Drinkwell Platinum [I left a more detailed one there for anyone interested in a self watering system]. |
