The1500NCP is a low- to high-power remote trainer that is a favorite of the upland hunter. It is an ideal choice for any medium-size or large-breed dog regardless of temperament. Features include water-resistant transmitter, waterproof receiver, rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, half-mile range, nick and constant stimulation, and Dogtra's patented non-stimulating pager.
The Dogtra 1500 NCP is a good starter unit for basic obedience training.

2 types of stimulation:
Nick Stimulation - causes a very short single correction It automatically shuts off in a fraction of a second, no matter how long the button is held down.
